Front Range has garnered more honors and awards than all of the teams in the Rocky Mountain Region combined, a tradition of which the staff, players, and parents are justifiably proud!
Front Range Volleyball Club was formed in the Denver-metro area in 1981. Since then, FRVBC has consistently endeavored to raise the level of junior volleyball in Colorado, and is known throughout the country as a nationally acclaimed Junior Olympic training club. FRVBC’s impact is evident not only in the Rocky Mountain Region, but also among collegiate and national volleyball programs.
Front Range VBC has achieved a record that is unparalleled in Colorado, and ranks with the best of the elite clubs in the nation. In national competition Front Range is a 7 time National Champion - with 6 gold medals won at the Junior National Championships (2015, 2014, 2006, 2005, 2002, 2001). Front Range has won a total of 9 medals at the Junior National Championships, and another 9 medals at the AAU National championships. To date, no other club in the Rocky Mountain Region has won more than one Gold Medal at JNC’s. Our players are just as impressive - to date Front Range players have been named 33 times to JNC All-Americans, and 18 times as AAU All-Americans.
In addition to our medal finishes in national championships, Front Range has won a total of 45 medals at national qualifiers, with 31 of those medals won in the Open division of competition. Within Colorado, Front Range has won 70 RMR Championships, more than any other club in the region.
Many FRVBC alumnae go on to have stellar careers at the collegiate level and beyond. Since the club’s inception, more than 350 of our athletes have gone to college on volleyball scholarships. 10 FRVBC players have been chosen as NCAA Division I All-Americans (many more than once), and 5 FRVBC alumni are NCAA Division I Champions. At the National Olympic program level, 5 FRVBC players have been on the Women’s National Team, and 20 have played professionally in countries around the globe. Each year, several of our young players are selected to the National High Performance Camp and Youth National Teams.
Since 2000, FRVBC has qualified over 50 teams for the Junior Olympic Championships – a feat only a few other teams in the entire country have matched.
